"This past weekend Mr. Dan Simpson has raised
the bar of Palma and thousand yard shooting.
In the brutal heat of central New York on a otherwise perfect Saturday, Mr. Dan
showed us all what a perfect Palm match looked like. He then took a few minutes
rest, and proceeded to only drop 4 points at that the second thousand, for a
day's total of 646/650.
Not being satisfied with that he came back Sunday and even though the heat was
not as great, nor the sun beating on us all, he then shot another perfect Palma.
Again taking a rest, he laid at the thousand yard line and shot a 199, for a
Sunday total of 649/650, and a two day total of 1295/1300.
Please note also that he did this with ease and great personal composure.
Mr. Simpson it was a pleasure to shoot with you
this weekend, you have made the BAR just that much higher.
