2010 F-Class Open Championship
On March 28, 2010, Derek Rodgers won the F-Open Class 2010
Nationals at Sacramento shooting a Barnard P Action in 300 WSM.
Derek benefitted not only from the JLK 210 bullets he was shooting in
Sacramento's notoriously tough conditions, but also from the fact that he was
shooting fast.
Derek, a right hander, shoots a Left Bolt Left Port Barnard, which allows him to
maintain his hold on the target while cycling.
"The Barnards are better than anything else as far as I'm concerned," says
Derek, who owns four Barnards. "I've got some awesome nice firearms, but Barnard
is so far ahead of a two lug custom it's not funny."
Derek especially likes the highly adjustable Barnard two stage trigger, and
..."the feedback I'm getting from gunsmiths is that the Barnard is true, and
consistent from action to action," Derek adds.
