Text Box: QUALITY STATEMENT TRUE-FLITE Rifle Barrels Over the past few years there have been incidences of catastrophic failure of some brands of rifle barrel made from 416 series stainless steel. NONE of these incidents involved True-Flite rifle barrels.   True-Flite rifle barrels are made from special low-sulphur 416 stainless steel, specifically formulated and heat treated for safe manufacture of rifle barrels. We do NOT purchase our 416 steel via brokers or merchants; our steel is supplied direct from the ISO-certified mill in Pennsylvania and every shipment is supplied with a "Certificate of Tests", a copy of which is available to every purchaser of a True-Flite rifle barrel upon request. Ask your True-Flite agent for a "Certificate of Tests" (free of charge).   OUR RECOMMENDATION TO PURCHASERS OF 416 SERIES RIFLE BARRELS: When purchasing ANY brand of rifle barrel made from 416 stainless steel, INSIST on a "Certificate of Tests" of the steel used to make the barrel. Be extremely wary of any brand for which a Certificate can not, or will not be provided. Be equally wary of barrels made from 416 steel which indicates a level of Sulphur or Selenium exceeding 0.15%.   TRUE-FLITE Rifle Barrels, Mt. Maunganui, NEW ZEALAND.
